Hayden honored at Environmental Media Awards
Hayden confirmed her engagement to heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko two weeks ago on Live With Kelly and Michael, this weekend at the Environmental Media Awards Saturday she revealed that she designed her 6-carat diamond ring.
‘Montblanc made me this amazing book where they did a bunch of sketches, I told them my idea over time and tweaking things here and there, it came to fruition.’
The Nashville starlet’s emerald cut wedding bling reportedly has a price tag of $500,000.
Since the Ukrainian 37-year-old was otherwise indisposed, Hayden brought along her little brother Jansen. The 19-year-old actor was last seen in this year’s faith-based flick, The Lost Medallion.
Aside from her ring, Panettiere flashed a bit of bra in her sheer lacy frock featuring criss-crossing cut-outs and Halloween colours.
The Golden Globe nominee slicked her blonde locks into a top bun and kept her make-up light and lovely for the environmental event.

BREAKING NEWS: Hayden confirms engagement!
Hayden Panettiere has finally confirmed what we all kinda, sorta thought. Yep, she’s engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
The Nashville star made the announcement during an appearance on Wednesday’s Live With Kelly & Michael. While the 24-year-old actress came out wearing a live boa constrictor, the snake didn’t prevent cohost Kelly Ripa from noticing the rock on her hand.
“I’m sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there’s a very large diamond ring on your ring finger,” said Ripa. “I’m not sure if you want to announce anything…Does that signify anything, is that a promise ring or something?”
A smiling Panettiere responded, “It might be… mean, I think it speaks for itself.”
Sure enough, when Ripa simply asked flat-out if she was engaged, Panettiere happily replied, “I am.”
Last month, the former Heroes star was spotted at LAX airport wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring, prompting speculation she and Klitschko were planning on tying the knot. Of course, it wasn’t the first time the couple had found themselves at the center of rampant engagement rumors.
