Hayden has high hopes for Nashville Season 2

There’s a really nice article due to feature in the May 20, 2013 issue of New York Magazine. Here’s a sneak peek, plus 2 photos.

Should her day job fall through, Hayden Panettiere has a bright future in patio design. She can weatherproof furniture; she knows her way around a Party City. And she’s already learned the most important lesson of landscaping: “The hardest part of this entire thing was repotting the cactuses. It’s a bad idea. Do not repot them. They will destroy you.” We’re sitting, surrounded by repotted cactuses, in the 23-year-old Nashville star’s private backyard tiki lounge, which a parka-clad Panettiere, on break from filming the show’s finale, has graciously opened despite the cold weather. It’s an impressive setup: There’s a bamboo beverage hut (empty except for a bottle of elderflower liqueur) … Read More.

Hayden Supports Wladimir

Hi fans, sorry for the lack of updates over this last week – I’ve been away getting some sunshine with friends!

OK, so bulk update. On May 4th, Hayden supported bf Wladimir Klitschko at his heavyweight title bout against Francesco Pianeta in Mannheim, Germany, Hayden wore a peach knee-length halter top dress with a black band around her neck and black trim along the top and had her blonde hair parted down the middle and wore minimal make-up to the match.

She was joined at her ringside seat by Natalia Egorova, the wife of Wladimir’s boxing brother Vitali Klitschko. German tennis legend and former Wimbledon champion Boris Becker also was seated next to Hayden for the boxing match. Wladimir retained his WBA, IBF and WBO world heavyweight titles when the referee stopped the fight in the sixth round after Pianeta had taken enough of a pummeling.

Then 4 days later (May 8th) Hayden and Wladimir attended the boxing champion to the Sports Emmy Awards Reception at Lincoln Center in New York City. Wladimir, 37, attended the ceremony in support of Klitschko, an HBO production following the careers of he and brother Vitali, which garnered a nomination for Outstanding Sports Documentary.

White House Correspondents’ Dinner

Hayden attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner! Hayden wore a yellow silk tulle draped gown with Swarovski crystal beaded thread from Katharine Kidd Spring/Summer 2012 collection. She carried a “Cream Acrylic Clutch” with cream marble print from the Ashlyn’d Fall/Winter 2013 collection.

We thought her yellow dress perfectly flatters her gorgeous blonde hair and California tan… check out the x48 photos we have added to the gallery.

Hayden Panettiere’s Cotton Inc. Ad – Watch

Lending her vocal talents to a new career venture, Hayden Panettiere is the newest celebrity to star in a cotton ad campaign. The adorable “Nashville” actress strolls around the streets in the “fabric of our lives” from brands including Missoni, Valetino, Anthropologie while her twainy-tune plays in the background of the colorful commercial.

“It’s a lot easier to play a character on TV than to play yourself, even in a thirty-second commercial,” Panettiere said in a release. “I mean, off the set, I am basically a blue jeans kind of girl—as long as they’re cotton, of course.”

Check out the x38 HQ Screencaps from the Ad here. Hayden isn’t the only actress to star in the ad campaigns. Zooey Deschanel, Emmy Rossum and Kate Bosworth all showed off their singing talents for the lifestyle brand over the past few years.

Hayden Panettiere Takes Turn for Cotton Inc.

Since the 2009 relaunch of The Fabric Of Our Lives campaign from Cotton Incorporated, TV and Internet viewers have become accustomed to the signature closet-door framing device. The doors of the ninth commercial in the campaign open to reveal Panettiere as the latest face and voice to promote cotton’s role as a versatile textile fiber.

The new campaign has a budget of around $20 million, according to a Cotton Inc. spokesman. The commercials featuring Panettiere in various scenes — choosing an outfit in her walk-in closet, having fun at a nightclub, shopping at a shoe store, walking her dog — will begin airing as 15- and 30-second spots on TV and select Internet outlets beginning Monday.

“For this commercial we wanted a celebrity with an all-American, girl-next-door quality,” said Ric Hendee, senior vice president of consumer marketing for Cotton Inc. “Hayden had the look and the country cross-over sound we were looking for.”

Panettiere, star of the hit TV show “Nashville,” also sings the catchy “The Fabric of our Lives” theme song with a country twist in the commercial.

The criteria was strategic, building on the theme of the 2012 commercials, a celebration of American style that culminated in the second Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show in South Beach, Miami, in March.

“The commercial celebrates American style and American originals like country music, cotton denim and, of course, U.S. cotton growers, who are the number-one exporters of cotton to the global textile industry,”

Hendee said.

Supporting the commercials are a series of related digital assets on the campaign Web site, thefabricofourlives.com. There, visitors can explore “Hayden’s Closet” to learn more about her style and to link directly to online retailers with comparable apparel at a range of price points. Within the closet environment is a new feature underscoring cotton’s appropriateness for any occasion.
