It’s been a crazy year for Nashville fans, but now that all that cancellation crap is behind us, we can focus on the new season right around the corner!
A month ago we got our first look at what’s to come for Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere when their country show returns on its new network, and now we’ve got an even JUICIER full trailer!
CMT just released a new preview of Nashville’s fifth season and Hayden sure looks TERRIFIED as she hits some turbulence! Don’t worry though, our answers are only a few weeks away as it premieres on January 5 at 9 p.m. EST!
The hotly-anticipated Faena Art Dome opened Tuesday night just in time to celebrate The Daily’s Miami edition, which stars Natasha Poly in an editorial lensed by Sebastian Faena. Poly was among the evening’s hosts, which also included Alan Faena, Ximena Caminos, Brandusa Niro, and Juan Gatti, the Dome’s designer who is known as “the Michaelangelo of the Faena.” The event was presented by Persol, Mercedes-Benz, and Papyrus.
Others who attended with Hayden to dance to music by DJ Henri were Len Blavatnik, Wladimir Klitschko, Ian Mellencamp, Jeremy Scott, Pablo Olea, Jeremy Kost, Blair Voltz Clarke, Alistair Clark, Hopper Penn (son of Sean Penn!), Lorenzo Martone, DiMondo, Fabian Basabe, and Katia Pryce, among other luminaries from the worlds of art and fashion.
Guests were transfixed by the projection of Gatti’s film “Contraluz,” as well as Persol’s popular photo booth. Papyrus enlisted illustrator Deanna First to create one-of-a-kind illustrations for attendees. Adding to the circus-like ambiance were acts from the cast of C’est Rouge, a Blanca Li-produced spectacular that’s currently showing at the Faena Theater. We have added x20 photos of Hayden and Wladimir at the event …
A new 30 second trailer has been released for the upcoming fifth season of Nashville. If you haven’t see the season 4 finale, then we suggest you stop reading as this article contains spoilers. If you have seen it carry on to find out more about the new season.
Featuring the first footage from the new season, the teaser confirms that Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) was involved in a plane crash. Avery (Jonathan Jackson) is seen being informed that something has happened to Juliette’s plane and Rayna (Connie Britton) finds out about the crash while watching TV with her family.
The teaser also shows a rocky path ahead for Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio) as they try to become a couple once again, temptation for Will (Chris Carmack) in the form of a new love interest, and Maddie (Lennon Stella) dealing with the behaviour that led her to break away from her family in season 4.
We’re not too worried about Juliette’s fate seeing as Hayden Panettiere is signed on for the full season. Could it be the catalyst she and Avery need to patch things up?
Nashville debuts on CMT Thursday 5th January 2017. A UK air date has yet to be confirmed.
The cast also took some promo photos for the new season, check out the video…
Hayden’s (not so little anymore) brother Jansen Panettiere has recently produced and starred in Five Minutes with Mary, a short film directed by Matt Beurois and inspired by true events during the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks.
Jansen plays Danny, a boy thrust into the shootings after he receives a call from who he thinks is a friend in Paris. After hearing loud gunshots, Danny learns on the phone that a woman named Mary is trapped in the Bataclan with terrorists.
Five Minutes with Mary will be at festivals starting in January and on VOD at the end of 2017.
“We made this film to commemorate those that lost their lives during the terrorist attack on November 13 at the Bataclan in Paris, the impact this event has had on those families that have lost loved ones, people all around the world who have felt the effects of this tragedy,” Panettiere told MTV News. “Working on a project based on such an event was very motivating. It made me feel like I was representing the unspoken stories.”
